Financing Available & Flexible
We’re happy to accept payment directly upon meetup, or you can easily apply for financing at the BoatTrader.com listing. Of course, your friendly neighborhood credit union or bank may be able to finance if you need it!
If you agree to buy the boat but need time to secure financing, we’ll work with you as best we can to hold it for you. We’d likely request a Memo of Understanding and deposit to hold it.
Methods of Payment
Cashier’s Check (Preferred): If you’re paying directly instead of financing: Sorry, no personal or company checks. We’ll complete the sale via a cashier’s check from a reputable bank or credit union. We may call the bank to verify the cashier’s check.
Wire: You can make payment via wire (e.g., FedWire).
Financing: If you’re financing, we’ll help facilitate your bank/CU’s issue of a cashier’s check for the loan.
Credit Cards: We may allow some or all of the sale via credit card at our discretion. A transaction fee will be added.
Apps: Sorry, platforms like Venmo, Square, and Zelle usually don’t work.
