Is This a Portfolio? Who is Your Audience? What’s the Point of a Page for Employers, Managers & Colleagues?
First, no: this Site is not a Portfolio. But it may become one.
With this Site, I’d like to express both professional -and- creative energies. Please know that the content throughout is intended for separate audiences, but I Trust viewers like You to separate the separate brand of humor here than what is workplace acceptable. The blog postings you may see are lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek, playful endeavors. Perhaps we’ll find common ground in one of the topics, whether it’s a funny run-on or a bone fide discussion of peer-reviewed publications in our healthcare industry? As noted on the homepage, humour is the Meaning of Life, in my books: it’s the universal bonding channel. It powers friendships. Done right, it obliterates the immense barriers that cease communication (and thus zero-out productivity) some of our colleagues struggle to bring down on their own accord. We can all bond over something funny yet appropriate!
Please know that I uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in all work-related affairs. That’s why the motto of this Site is: “Powered by Trust ✓℠.” Further, rest assured that this site is never a priority over work projects that require my (ongoing) effort.
I so kindly ask that you please suspend judgement and deter your thinking from defining me by what you experience here–at least in a sense that otherwise compromises what we do or you will see in the office. Let’s at least meet or talk first. I Trust that you’ll see.
